Patrick Marleau Milestone Graphic

On March 29, 2020, after taking his first shift in the eventual shootout win over the Minnesota Wild, Marleau took sole possession of second place in all-time games played in the National Hockey League, passing Mark Messier with 1,757. The NHL Alumni Association had requested for a graphic to be made in recognition of this milestone and begin the countdown to Patrick Marleau becoming the league's leader in most career NHL games played.
The graphic was later reposted by the NHL on all social platforms and was re-shared by Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, Haley Wickenheiser, and other notable members of the hockey community.
